Frequently asked questions

Everything we get asked about a wedding abroad, gathered in one place. Still stuck? Drop us a message and we'll help.

When and where is the wedding?
We'll be formally dressed, and it would be lovely if you were too. This is a once-in-a-lifetime event, so we want to see everyone in their very best.
Whilst we love your little ones, we have decided to make our wedding an adults-only event. We hope you'll take it as a chance for a night off celebrating with us! We completely understand that this may not work for everyone. If bringing your children is the only way you can join us, please let us know. We would be happy to help explore local babysitting arrangements during the wedding festivities.
Do you have a registry / gift list?
Which airport should I fly into?
Do I need to hire a car?
Where should I stay?
How many days should I plan for?
What time should I arrive?
We would never let you celebrate alone! Plus-ones will be mentioned on the invites. Please add their names on the RSVPs so we know who will be joining you. If we've accidentally missed a loved one off the list it certainly wasn't our intention, so if you're not sure, just ask us.
The church and venue are around half an hour's drive apart. We're looking into providing a shuttle bus from the church to the venue and back to your accommodation, so you can celebrate to the fullest. This isn't fully coordinated yet, so please let us know on your RSVP if you'd like this as an option — we appreciate that not everyone will have a car available. Taxis to the church from your accommodation of choice are very affordable and easy to arrange.
What food and drink will there be?
Will the ceremony be in Greek or English?
